ResponderBorrarIn my opinion this journal is a very though one.School for me is like my happy place ,byt it is also like hell,it is like hell because I just get bored,I do classworks,homework,exams and the worst PARTIAL EXAMS.I just hate so badly partial exams or any exam. I also hate being in the classroom all day long,it just gets me more tired and all I want to do is sleep,but even though I feel school is like hell,it is my happy place.Why? Because it is the place where I can see the people I love "My Friends". They just make me school days to happy I also like school because there is were I practice my favorite thing in life to play volleyball.It's my favorite month in school when we practice volleyball.So yess eventhough school is like prision or hekk,is a place whhere we make friends,form teams,know about things we didn't knew,make a new family,a place where you learn new things everyday,take risks,and prepare for real life. It is also a place where my stress level get so so so but so high and that is something i really hate.

For me school is where you get basic knowledge of all kind of things that you will need later in life like math,geography things , you know the basic knowledge.If you don't go to school you won't know things like add,multiply,read,or solve problems.You have to study and try to do your best to learn something new every day,try to do you best in classes even though it's difficult,effort to get new opportunities in life like studying in another country.You also learn to socialize with people,to make friends ,to talk and interact with different persons, which is also really important as well.

Seven Cruel Hours Of Our Life=SCHOOL
School may be hard,annoying,and irritating;But admit it,you are going to miss it when it ends.In this journal entry,I want to focus on my experiences throughout highschool,and the adventures that are waiting for me.I cans still remember my very first day at elementary school.I was kind of scared.But as time passed by and friends came,I wasn't afraid anymore.I might hate lots of things about school,teachers,GYM,partials,bus rides,etc.But,I can't leave aside the things I like about school:lunch,friends,projects in groups,holiday vacation,BTS shopping,etc.School has been my second home since I was a small kid.So school to me means all of the experiences I've had with my friends and teachers.We might think it's dumb but one day we'll miss all of our teachers,friends and all the adventures.

What does school means to me ? School has many meanings to me. An example of one pf these meanings include an educational center, it is an institution who prepares us for college(in college classes are harder). We learn basic features for the careeers we would eventually perform. A school could be define as a reunion center, in school you can hang out with your friends and have the happiest and funniest moments of your life. There you can find your family, that brings up another term, school is your home, 8-10 hours is the approximate time we spent in this institution. As you may know we would do anything that's possible to make ourselves comfortable. We would arrange our lockers with posters and pictures that we like (I used to arrange it with DBZ drawings), we try to talk people that make us feel good, people that are like our very own siblings, and these applies almost for everyone. School is not at all boring, though you can be sleeping or eating instead; but we always try to be better everyday by improving your mistakes, at all times. School, summarizing, is a center that prepares us for life.

Second Hell
Many people consider school to be a place that gives us stress, depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation, and I actually believe in thid myself. But what could be the real reason for students to hate going to school so much? Well there are many different reasons. First of all homework. Teachers usually assign a lot of homework or projects anf usually we have to turn everything in on the same day. This causes students to stay up for more time and this means that the next day they will go to school feeling really tired. But I also think of school as a place you should enjoy going to. You come here to learn. And it is a place that will help you grow and preparate you for what is coming in your future. School is also a olace where you are going to meet friends. And even though you are probably going to loose communication with them, you will never forget them. So yeah, ny opinion of school is not really the best of all, but I do enjoy coming. Even though it causes me to be stressed, or even be sleep deprived, school is a great place.

ResponderBorrarThe most recent and one I'm still working is to go to church every sunday. For one of my new year purposes I decided yo do this one. Because for my family God is the main thing to love and get into the topic.So when I was little I was that kind of person who cry when someone said "get ready to go to church". Sometimes I even pretended to be asleep just for not going. I don't know I just didn't like to go to church it was so boring because I couldn't understand.Now Ia always,well I try to go all sundays to chuch. I even started going to one of my church grouos which they are only for teenagers. This is a thing that has also helped me get more into God,it also has increase my faith,and well I feel very proud of myself for ebtering more into God's world which is really amazing,because I have learned so many new things and now I understand more what people at church talks about. What is a school? School for me and for many other people, is a place were children and teenagers are torture in the most terrifying way. School is like the most horrible nightmare you have dreamed, I would love that school was never invented, everyone will be happy if that happens. In the other hand, school is important because it is the place were we learn to be a better person, we learn things that will be useful and hepful for our life, but we also learn things that will never be used in life. It is also. the place where you discover and find out who you really are. With school you can find out who you really are and find some of the worst witches of the entire world, but not all teachers are witches, they are good teachers, too. Also, not everything will be rainbows and unicorns in the school. You need to give the best of you in school, have good grades be a good student, etc. School is not easy but it has a purpose: prepare us for what is coming in our lives.

What is school? Well school is my second home is where I have friends. School is the one that made who I am. School makes a normal person into an excellent person. We have the right to have education. That is the best right because school is part of who I am. The school always teaches me something new and they correct my mistakes. If I wouldn't have education I would be someone else. I would not be responsible nor educated. At first school may be boring, but if you focus and try to do your best, school will be the best you can have. School makes you a leader or teaches you to work alone and in teams too. Orange Belt
I became an orange belt in karate. When they gave me the belt I couldn't believe that I have made it. I knew that I have been working hard in this so hard. My dedication showed me that I have proven to be an orange belt, I always had a great spirit. When I got to my home I couldn't believe I was an orange belt for an instant. So I decide to keep working, practicing everything again, and I did. I felt great that day, my mom was happy too. She was happy for me. All the year I worked hard to earn it. Today every time I see that orange belt it reminds me of that great effort. How did I felt the moment I accomplished my purpose? The first thing that passed through my mind was Wow! Now I'm an orange belt. I felt glorious for that specific moment. And when I went to my house I started making exercises because of the excitement until I couldn't feel my arms. And when I said to myself I'm an orange belt now. I must prove it. So I kept on practicing, every time I see that belt I feel proud of myself

School... Interesting and fascinating topic to debate, but I will give my sincere opinion about the school. For many people school is a very boring place, a interesting or also irritating place, they request many annoying tasks. But for me the school is a very interesting place where you have personal good memories and besides knowing new people you can learn things that you will need in life, in everyday life and actually school can be one of the best places of all. But like everything is not perfect in this world, schools have many terrible mistakes that they need to be repaired as quick as possible. For example, schools are 8 hours long and although they take 1/3 of your day with classes, you don't need homework to pass your night of "peace" to a night with stress. Also we have teachers and just like everyone, they are humans and they have feelings, but they shouldn't bother students and treat them all different only because they are the authority. One of the most annoying and fatal mistakes that schools have, is a system of grading kids, with "grades" so students will be focused of getting the "best" grades instead of really learning, with this problem students will cheat and have bad morals and do what's not correct. Also the same idea, all the schools should be more focused on learning what's planned(the original purpose) instead of putting to memorize tons of information and don't learn. All mistakes have solutions.

What will be a accomplishment that I achieved and how do I felt after completing this task? Well, this will be a very easy decision, but why? Actually, in this vacations I really experienced a unique and different feeling I could never have done, but... What is it? I feel very proud about myself because I worked like a normal employee and without losing more or less respect, always having a specific task to do all the time. For many people my job was dumb, but in the exact amount of 45 days, from 8am to 5pm daily, really similar to school in many ways, but those little details that make it completely different. Meeting new and very interesting persons, seeing life from the other unique perspective and in many ways, understanding more the position of my mother, that she works hard to take care of us. Sometimes is very annoying, without the way of making that finally ended and could go rest at our nice home, relax like a king. Many people listen my tasks and they sound really easy, but actions mean more than words and although they seem to be super common to do in a job and that doesn't need to be paid, they are 3 important factors that make the hole story change: The energy you have, the experience and the most important of all will be the time you possess... This changed many of my ideas and plans, I had a unique experience that I would repeat.

The double Ace
Since I was a little kid, maybe around seven or eight years ago, I have always loved to play sports. I started playing basketball when I was in seclnd grade. Since then, I have been practicing a lot. I went to my first basketball tournament when I was eleven years old. It was a small school tournament, and even though we ended up in third place, it was a very good and also a different experience. After that, when I was in seventh grade, I was going to compete in the ABSH with the basketball team. We had a lot of pressure because everyone was expecting us to win. With a lot of effort, we finally managed to win the tournament. And we made history because it was the first team to ever win a basketball ABSH in LES. I also play volleyball since fourth grade, and it is my favorite sport. But I never had a tournament experience before, this made it so much harder to not be nervous during ABSH. When I competed with the team, it was one of the best experiences that I have ever had in my life. And I am proud of us because we won that year.

What is school for me? Well for me school its a place to learn, make friends, and to be a better person. Why to learn? Because the school help us to write, to read and those things are a must for life. School?what does school means? Well I think school is prision a place were most people live.A place whre you socialize with a lot o people,teachers and workers.A horrendous place that lives you homework and makes you work on classworks,projects and exams this place lives you so much work to do that you barely get to sleep.Yes,believe it or not thats school.Isn't it pretty?Some of the things we learn are super boring and some are really interesting.But the best things about school are friends.You can make a lot of friends at school.One thing that I hate but hate with all my heart is that Im not always in the same class as my best friend but I guess I have bad luck or they know that if they both of us in the same class it will be chaotic,well you should be friends with your classmates.Well in my personal opinion I think La Estancia School has a heavy academic charge but some people who had already graduated have said that that heavy academic charge helps in university because it makes university much.So you need to thank LES for that.

My Best Goals
ResponderBorrarAt long of this year I consider that on this year I got alot of goals, one of my best goals happend on my vacations is whrn my mom and dad decided to put me on "La Villa Olimpica" on the swiming part and at first I do not know how to swim but thanks to this lesson of swiming I lear to swim and now I can go to the beach without problem. Other of my goals ocurred on my vacations, this happend on Futeca, is a school of soccer, and we go to a tournament and that was good experience for mi life. I consider this is my best goal of this year because is something I never have on LES on the first partial buecause according to me 90% of final grade of the partial is a good grade. Iam proud of my self to have all this goals.

I did it !
I haven't accomplished many goals in my entire life, maybe beacause they are long term ones(most of them), plus I don't do many productive stuff during my free time. These vacations, I can say that I read more than usual. So that's what I will take as recent goal.... Yes I lowered my expectations. I read all the Percy Jackson and the Olympians' book saga, I spent about 3 weeks reading them. There are 5 books in total and I truly enjoyed them. I read most of them online, I just own 2 books. I began to read them because my brother read the first book "The Lightning Thief ", and he liked it and recommended it to me. My brother didn't read them all. They were incredibly good. I would like more books from Rick Riordan and I'll like to change the faith of many characters. Reading these books was very placid, especially because they talk about greek mythology. I felt proud and a little sad because one part of me didn't want to finish, I wanted them to be infinite! The books were awesome and I could read them over and over.

A goal I recently achieved and I am proud of is a presentation I had two months ago I had been practicing three months prior until I finally received my spot to play in the Manuel Bonilla national theatre.There were roughly two hundred people there . So there I was nervous me ready to present when I suddenly got cold feet, as they were calling my name I couldn't move or anything so then I just said yo myself yolo and I picked up drumsticks and I started playing and I suddenly got an adrenaline rush, and when I stopped playing I felt great I felt accomplished

Every summer my aunt, cousin and me , we go help Fundación Casa de Luz .Casa de Luz helps the kids that doesn't have money for school, food, and good care for their childrens , so casa de Luz helps this little kids to have a strong relationship with God . Mostly they have kids in the age of 3-10 years old . In all Honduras there is only two Fundación Casa de Luz those two are on a poor barrior because they need more helps than others. The first time I whent to Fundación Casa de Luz, that day I woke up at 5:00 am to be in casa d Luz with my aunt , cousin and me . That day al almost cried , because I see all those poor kids very happy and they don't matter what problems are they passing through. The next day we whent with a friend and her sister, my aunt cousin and me. What I love more about Casa de Luz is how they treat the kids, and they take care about of them . I love casa de Luz and I will continue helping.

In this days something amazing happen to me. Something that I thought will never happen. This is a hoal that became possible and I was working very hard to make it real. I am sure some people will not say is a big thing, but for me it is. My acheived goal is that I really know how to ride a bycicle! I didn't know how to ride a bycicle, until one day decided to learn how to ride it. It took me like a week with four days, but I never give up and I continued learning how to ride the bycicle. I was very excited when finally I learned to ride the bycicle. Althought, the very firdt time I rode my bycicle on my own, I almost crashed with a huge tree, but nothing happen, I didn't crash with a huge tree, thanks God! Guess who taught me to ride? My cute little sister, yes, that demon but I appreciate that she has time for me. It was like impossible for my dad to taught me, he doesn't know how to ride a bycicle. Anyway, it was nice to have a little time with my family. It was very fun, excited, and exhausted to learn how to ride. I really wanted to reach that goal, and with perseverance and effort I could!

For me school is a place were you acquired most of your knowledge, it's not a place were you learn all your knowledge but is a place of challenge that puts in practice everything you know. I honestly don't like going to school but I analyze that it's not an option it's something I really need to do to be someone in life. School is not that comfortable because not everthing is accepted there is a very rigid schedule and rules that you need to follow. I don't think school is a place were you find friends but instead learn that friends can be cruel and that is really hard to find a real friend. I also don't enjoy the 8 hours we spend at school some of the classes are really boring and yes i sleep on my desk. After all my complaints I think school is really important and I need to visit it if i want to become a professional.

I have a lot of goals this year, one of my goals is to have better grades than last year. I'm doing super good compare to last year, but I want to get better grades, I am doing find so I can tell I'm
reaching my goal. One of my other goals is to win a championship of soccer with the school, I think we can win the championship this year. There is also one thing I don't like, school doesn't support us like they support other sports, for example volleyball. I think that if they support us more we can get to win first place in the ABSH. You can see how they support volleyball and they always defend them. I really want to win a soccer tournament this year to show all the school and specially one teacher that we did it even though se didn't support us. I think I can reach all of this goals and I know I will teach them. I know that if i want to reach them I have have to put a lot of effort. I will study for my tests and make all my homework. I will be more responsable at school and get 100% in everything. In my other goal of soccer, I will give everything of me in each game and I want to win the 1st place on the ABSH.

Goal Achieved
When I was on 7th grade and I was doing pretty bad on my math and science class. It was the last partial of 7th grade, so I decided to study hard on my math and science quiz to get a good grade, and pass my class to enjoy my vacations
For my math quiz my brother helped me study the hard lessons, it was pretty tough, but when it was time for the test I felt it easy and I got a 83% on my quiz and on my science quiz i got a 91% and I passed both classes.

My lifetime at school
For me school has been one of the most funny things that I ever had, but at the same time the worst thing. I like to go everyday to see my friends, play, and learn new things, but what I hate with all my heart are projects and homework. In school is where I met almost all my friends. Also something that I don't like about school are mean teachers that get angry all day, that leave so much homework, and that argue with you for any little thing you do. My school means like a second family for me. I really miss them everytime I get home. I also remember that my first time at school was in kindergarden, where I was crying and terrified because I didn't knew no one, but as the day passed I made some friends. Now that I'm in ninth grade I know almost everyone in highschool,and I really enjoy going to school and see them. I like math, but I don't like math homework. Some teachers are the best while others are detestable.

The Best Scores
Well recently, last school year in 8th grade, I really made my best effort in all my classes to ge a 95% or above as a total average in order to be exempt from all exams. It was very hard, I had to sleep very late almost every day in order to finish all my homework, projects, and studying for any quiz. Also I had to improve my stamina,doing push-ups, running every day for every physical test they made to us like the Coursse Navette. The first partial I couldn't do it and I made all the exams, but in the second, third, and fourth partial I did it, and I pass all my classes with an average of 98%. I didn't do any exam,while I saw that everyone had to study, while I was resting. It really fet good and I could finally rest and calm down of making homework or studying. It really felt good and I feel so proud of myself.

My Best Goal
Well the best goal I had accomplished recently is about making new friends, for me was a must to knew new people, so when we begun school last year I was very excited because new people were entering to La Estancia, the first new kid I met was David because he is in my classroom and as you know I love to talk. Now David is one of my nearest friend, I feel very proud of myself because I accomplished my goal in fast way, I am good at this things. For me a friend is something you need in your life so that's why I accomplished this goal. Because to met new people can guide you to many places or help you to be a better person, believe it or not this is something I really get worry about, because everyone need someone who can talk to. This is the best goal I have accomplished.

My latest goal I have accomplished and by far the best was in the last days of 8th grade.I was failing math class and it was imposible for me to pass math class,we were in partial exams,the day had come it was math partial exam but one week after I was with my best friend,I told that if I passed math class we will both get a hair cut but not a common type of haircut,we will get bald,yes just like vin dissel,he accelted because he was sure that I will flunk.I started the partial exam and I remember that day I came with a rosary in my hands and everybody was laughing at me because I did the exam with a rosary in my hands,well we all finish the partial exam and went to discuss in group but we all had different answers,well two days passed and Mrs.GG upload the partial exam to renweb,I was so nervous,I enter renweb and went to grade book and saw that I did pass I was so happy I wanted to cry.The weeks passed and we were on vacation and it was the time.the time to get bald.When I got bald it felt soo weird because you could fell the fresh air in your head.It was a nice experience,I did enjoy It.

ResponderBorrarA goal I accomplish recently
I had a goal that I accomplish and it was doing my canvas in an awesome way . I wanted it to look goo and well done. Beacause other canvas I 've done before are just not that great and very simple and many people really bother me because of its appearence . So this time I decided to show and demonstrate them I can do it good and better to show them I don't suck when I don't get myself lazy. This canvas required a lot of work and effort but it's pleasurous at the end. I really feel proud of myself because of this and I hope they will like it. And if I want to show them I really can do it I have to give my all to this drawing . But what matters the most it's not what people thinks about the drawing, instead it's my personal opinion.

What it is school?
School is an important thing and place of us kids, because in school is where you learn lots of things. Like how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. You also learn how to read and write. School is also very important because is where you decide when you are junior or seniors and you decide what do you want to do when you grow up and what do you want to do with your life or what do you want to do for living. Also in school you learn virtues, such as honesty, responsability and respectful and to always be a good person. Also in school you get to know people in which this people can become your friends or best friend. And also this friends can become your girlfriend or boyfriend. So this is school for me.

My Goals
First what are goals? The meaning of goals for me is to set a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, also is what you propose to yourself things or accomplishment you want to succeed. Goals are also a thing you want to accomplish it in a certain amount of time and with a purpose, for example, to be more respectful with you parents or to be more responsable when you do your homeworks, and to be more honest. And also it can be when you want to propose to yourself like, "i want to pass the math exam tomorrow" so for example my goal is to get better at my classes and to get better at my grades to always have good grades, and to always study for my quizes, exams ect.
One of my goals that i am proud and have accomplished is when i pass my partial exam last year in the fourth partial, i studied alot for that exam because i needed to pass that exam with 80 and i did it, i saw my grade with my mom and when i saw that i pass y scream and was sooo happy, that even my mom got scared when i scream because she thought something bad happen to me, but then i told her that i pass, and she got happy, and also i was happy because i knew i was getting a present. So i was so happy and proud of that.

A goal I accomplished,was to get exempt of science exam,and to pass my math exam in 8th grade,first I think that was impossible because Science and mostly math are difficult for me,in Science to get exempt I study more to know about the topic I was supossed to learn,Also I presentate all homework and do correctly projects,and I did not copied my homework and things I was supposed to do.In the final quarter(4th) to get exempt of my math exam I studied a lot,I start studying 2 weeks before to pass my exam with 72% because I really not good at math,is not a great note but I haven't passed any math exam in three quarters before also any quiz,And I studied to much and do so many exercises as possible to ger a 72% note but I feel good because I achieve my goal was to passed math exam and to get exempt of my science class,if you put a great effort to this you probadly cannot be the best but you achieve your goal
